This listing is for a BRAND NEW Pioneer SFI-Approved 168-tooth flexplate and ARP bolts for most 2-piece (split-type) rear seal crankshafts for 1968-85 Chevrolet Small and 1968-72 Big Block V-8 engines that are internally/neutral balanced requiring a 168-tooth flexplate. P/N 871001 + 100-2901. Flexplate specifications are as follows OUTSIDE DIAMETER: 14.13" CENTER HOLE DIAMETER: 2.50" (appx.) TEETH: 168 BALANCE: Internal / Neutral (without weight) SAFETY RATING: SFI-approved These Pioneer SFI-approved flexplates are manufactured from a .130" thick high strength steel material that exceeds O.E. specifications, and the bolt patterns are punched from O.E. blue prints to insure exact fit. The ring gears are double welded, and this flexplate has a dual torque converter bolt pattern to accommodate 10-3/4" and 11-1/2" torque converter bolt circle patterns for the Powerglide, TH350, TH400, and 700R4 automatic transmissions. Final steps include a diechromate finish to resist corrosion and a full 100% inspection. This size flexplate fits many Chevrolet-designed V-8 engines available in many Buick, Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac passenger cars and pickups.
